Cayla Nielsen, Creighton softball player talked with the softball camp participants and the high school softball team this week about her experiences playing college softball. Cayla is the daughter of Centennial graduate, Janette (Richters) Nielsen.
Cayla will be playing in her 5th season (Covid year) at Creighton. Last year she was a unanimous selection for the All-BIG EAST First Team, NFCA All-Region Second Team, CSC Academic All-District, and NFCA All-American Scholar-Athlete. Cayla led her Creighton team in BA, OBP, hits, runs and stolen bases.
